Porcupine Poppers

6 – 8  jalapeno peppers halved and seeded

1 pound pork sausage

½ pound sliced to fit inside jalapeno


Place cheese slice inside pepper, wrap sausage totally around pepper.  Place inside Dutch oven or on cookie sheet.  Bake for 30 minutes on medium high heat with top coals or 350 degrees.  Cook until sausage is done and cheese is running out
