Pineapple Puffs

Pineapple Puffs



1 cup sweetened coconut   

1 can pineapple chucks, drained with juice reserved

2 tablespoons butter

¼ cup brown sugar

1 pk crescent rolls



Toast coconut in dry skillet over medium heat.  Add butter and allow to melt slightly, then add pineapple chunks and stir well.  Add brown sugar and simmer to allow juices to reduce down.


Unroll crescent rolls and divide into rectangles.  Mash perforations together to make rectangle.  Place spoonful of pineapple mixture onto crescent roll, roll ends together

and seal edges with fork.


Spray or lightly oil a Dutch oven and cook over medium heat (350 degrees) adding top coals until browned.
