Lemon-Garlic Grilled Asparagus
1 pound asparagus
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 teaspoon lemon zest
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Trim asparagus ends and place in plastic bag. In a small bowl, combine oil, garlic, and lemon zest, stirring until blended well. Pour mixture into plastic bag over asparagus and toss to coat well. Place asparagus in grill basket over medium high heat and cook until crisp tender approximately 10-15 minutes. Serve immediately topped with Lemon Compound butter as sauce.
